The winter competition season starts in late April, running through to late August.
Hawthorn enters men’s and women’s singles/doubles teams in the Tennis Victoria Pennant, the Bayside Regional Tennis Association (BRTA), as well as the Eastern Regions Tennis (ERT) competitions.

Friday Night Social Twilight Tennis will run for 5 weeks, commencing Friday 1st February and last chance Friday 1st March. Enjoy the summer evenings on the HTC deck and try out some of those pointers you have learnt during the Australian Open!
Come along from 6pm for a hit of tennis, a Friday "knock-off", and something to eat (bring a plate to share).
$2 donation to cover balls + any court lighting required.

Members and friends are invited to come along and watch the 2019 Australian Open Men’s Final together at the Club on the big screen on Sunday 27th January.
Good news is, given it is the Australia Day holiday on Monday 28th, if the match ends up being a cliff-hanger, we can all recover with a sleep-in the next day.
The final kicks off at 7pm, pre-match entertainment from 7pm.
Bring a plate to share, beanbags/cushions optional!
Sunday social will run as per usual, so feel free to come down for a hit ahead of settling in for what will almost certainly be another fantastic men’s final. Will it be a history-making seventh Australian Open title for Federer??
So for those of you who aren’t away for the long weekend, don’t watch the final at home, come on down to the Club and watch it together with some fellow tennis tragics!
