It's Round 2!
Hawthorn v Hawthorn next Monday night in the Blackburn Monday Night Comp Open Section 3 Grand Final.
Last time the Hawks and the Hooligans went head to head, it was the Hawks who came out on top. Can they defend their title? Or will the Hooligans make it 1-1?
Come down to watch from 7pm and cheer on our Hawthorn teams!
Please join us on Sunday 11th December at the Club for an end of year Working Bee. We will look to'spruce up' the Clubhouse, courts, and garden area ahead of the holiday period. Following the Working Bee will be Sunday Social tennis and our annual Christmas BBQ.
11am - 2pm Working Bee - bring along your gardening gloves, sunscreen, and a hat.
From 2pm - Sunday Social tennis and BBQ - BYO drinks, salad, and meat for the BBQ.
We are once again having a Christmas hamper, so please bring along your contributions ahead of Sunday 11th.

The next Blackburn Districts Night competition season starts 20th January 2017. If you are interested in playing night comp, please email the club at info@hawthorntennisclub.com. The cut off for entries is on Friday 18th November.
Hawthorn Tennis Club would like to congratulate Andrew Simpson for winning the 2016 Masters 45+ Doubles Grade 3 Pennant Player of the Year.
These awards recognise players who have played consistently well across the pennant season and is a great recognition to Andrew for his standard of tennis this season which allowed him to win 86% of his doubles rubbers.
The 2016 Pennant Player of the Year awards will be presented at the Tennis Victoria Premier League Finals Day on Sunday 11 December. More details on the awards are available at:
